PSSI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency serving Platte County seniors, age 60 and older or 59 and disabled since 1982.

We enable seniors to live full and independent lives by providing nutrition services and transportation for opportunities to interact with others through socialization in activities throughout the area.

Since 1982 Platte Senior Services, Inc. (PSSI) has served Kansas City and Platte County with essential senior services focusing on seniors who are at risk because of isolation, malnutrition, frailty, illness or disability. PSSI enriches the quality of life for senior citizens by allowing them to remain active and live independently as long as possible in their own homes. We offer daily nutritious lunches either through Home Delivered Meals or at our Center along with exercise, art and music therapy, games and craft activities, special events and educational opportunities.
